- HEAD OFFICE VACANCIES (BRISTOL) -

 

GEO-ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER (up to £30K + BENS)

 

Due to continued expansion of our environmental team in our Bristol office we are looking for a Geo-Environmental Engineer to work on a variety of land characterisation projects. The team specialises in the investigation, characterisation and remediation validation of brownfield and industrial sites with complex land and building contamination issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong geo-environmental technical background with a post graduate qualification and have at least five years of experience with a geo-environmental consultant or contractor involved in contaminated land assessment and remediation work, Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations and report writing including CLEA, RBCA, P20, Consim and SNIFFER.

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERS

You will preferably have an engineering degree (but a geology degree would be considered) and a minimum of 2-3 year's experience.

Duties will include responsibility for the design, implementation and supervision of site investigations, including the undertaking of site works and preparing factual and interpretive reports.

CABLE PERCUSSION AND ROTARY DRILLER OPPORTUNITIES

Due to our growing business we are looking to recruit experienced rotary and cable percussion drillers to further compliment our teams.

 

Applicants must be experienced with open hole drilling, SPT sampling, coring and augering. Applicants with NVQ Level 2 Land Drilling qualifications are preferred, however the company will consider sponsoring the successful candidate.

The successful candidate must be prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK and hold a current driving licence.

Duties will include logging boreholes, supervision of site investigations, field testing, preparing factual and interpretive reports, etc.

The ideal candidate will be a civil engineering graduate but consideration may be given to an engineering geology or geology graduate.

SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

A senior geotechnical engineer with eight years plus experience in the field of geotechnical investigations is sought.

The applicant should possess a relevant science or engineering degree and would ideally be chartered.

The role will involve coaching and developing our expanding team of geotechnical engineers. A strong background of interpretative reporting will therefore be required.

Other duties will include report writing, estimating and assisting in Business Development.
