- SOIL TESTING - ROCK TESTING - AGGREGATE TESTING - CONCRETE TESTING - IN-SITU TESTING.The company’s laboratories occupy the ground floor of both the Bristol, Castleford and Hemel premises which have been converted to provide well equipped facilities for soil testing, rock testing, aggregate testing and concrete testing. Soil testing is carried out in accordance with BS1377 and the full range of tests are available. The Bristol and Hemel Hempstead laboratories are UKAS accredited to ISO 17025. The Castleford office is working towards UKAS accreditation by the end of April 2008. The company runs a modern effective stress facility including triaxial, shear box and ring shear capabilities and undertakes testing on a subcontract basis for other site investigation contractors.
The laboratories rock testing capabilites have recently been expanded to include Unconfined Compressive Strength, Rock shearbox and Brazilian tensile strength tests
The company also holds UKAS accreditation for some aggregate testing to BS812 and tests on some concrete and other construction materials are also undertaken.
