Securing a four-star RISQS rating

We are pleased to announce after our recent audit that our approved status under the Achilles Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme has been maintained and our rating has been upgraded.

We have recently completed our two-day Achilles Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) rail audit, in order to maintain our current approved status. The outcome of this audit (which included a detailed evaluation of our SHEQ management system) was an upgrade from our previous three start rating to a four start rating. This upgrade from three stars to four is a reflection of our commitment to improving our standards.

Part of the audit team, Eric Downey (senior engineering geologist) and explains, “It was a very detailed rail audit reviewing all of our management systems to ensure that we comply with the Network Rail standards so our business can operate safely on the rail network. We are pleased to report that we had no major or minor nonconformities and only three observations. We are pleased to announce that we were awarded a four-star rating, which sets the challenge to upgrade to five stars for 2017 and reflects the improvement in our operations from our three-star rating last year.”
