Item Description				An instrument designed for the rapid in-situ measurement of the structural properties of shallow soils including existing road pavements constructed with unbound materials. Continuous measurement can be made down to a depth of 850 mm and where soils or pavement layers have different stengths the boundaries can be identified and the thickness of the layers determined. Results can be correlated to the CBR test.
