- GEOTECHNICAL EXPERT WITNESS -The company employs chartered engineers and geologists who can act as independent expert witnesses. Their expertise covers most aspects of site investigation, geotechnics and geology.
They understand their responsibilities and duties to the court and have acted both in cases where several experts have been appointed and cases where their appointment is as a single joint expert.
Experience includes court appearances relating to major geotechnical claims, and the provision of written evidence relating to Environment Agency prosecutions, planning inquiries and legal disputes. Particular cases relate to the stability of railway cuttings, acceptability of earthworks materials, and adequacy of construction methods.
Work is also undertaken for loss adjusters in investigating and advising on claims.
